Blog of Bermanism

I thought it would be appropriate to write a blog entry, albeit a short one, one month to the day after my last one. I have been up to me ears in work since my last post. Several life changing events have happened since then:

1) I graduated (!!!!!, really!!)
2) We found a place to live in San Francisco
3) We’re moving on November 10
4) I’m starting my new job on November 14
5) I’m now Dr. Berman
6) There is no six, I just like the number.

Anyway, I want to write about each of these event individually, but I still find myself without ample time or energy to get to writing. I have some revisions to make to my dissertation before I leave, hopefully I’ll get to that this weekend. I also have to generate a lot of data for my manuscript that has to get done before I leave for SF, and that has been taking up most of my time recently. In addition, we have to pack our house in time for the movers to come on November 5. Luckily, I have an awesome wife who has been shouldering all of the responsibility for the move and packing herself without much complaint that I’m not helping. I hate that I’m not helping, but I plan on putting in three full days of packing starting on Tuesday. Hopefully, I can just get everything done and then she can relax. Anyway, the bottom line is that there is a whole crapload of things going on and the things that I want to write about keep piling up. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get to them in the near future, because they are very interesting stories. That is all for now, keep checking back and I might surprise you with a new post!
